A "100% Membership" Chapter

The Seattle Chapter of SHRM requires all our members to maintain active membership in the national Society for Human Resource Management. By asking all our members to maintain their membership in the national organization, we are able to offer a higher level of benefits not available to other chapters. If you haven't already secured your national SHRM membership, visit the national SHRM website now.

We ask that you designate Seattle SHRM (chapter #100) as your primary chapter so that we may continue to offer valuable and interesting programs and events. Please complete and return the Chapter Designation Form.

Which Membership Should I Choose?

Professional Membership ($65): The majority of our members will choose the Professional Membership. This is for individual members involved in the HR field.

Student Membership (Free): Seattle SHRM supports students who are already members of the national organization by offering a free membership so that they can also take advantage of our website resources and receive invitations to our chapter meetings. We realize that students are the future of the human resource profession and want to incorporate them into our professional community.

Vendor Membership ($200): Vendor members are entered into our searchable Vendor Directory and remain listed on the site for a year. Vendors have the option of uploading a logo in addition to pertinent contact information. Information can be changed at any time throughout the year.

• The application process is quick and easy. Here's what you can expect:
• When you click the "Join Now" link at the top of the page, or the "Become a Member" button below, you will be asked to choose the appropriate membership type (Professional, Student, or Vendor).
• Next, you'll need to create a username and password that you'll remember. Once your membership is confirmed, You will be able to login to our site and view our member-restricted pages.
• For Professional and Student memberships, you will be required to enter your National SHRM ID in order to become a member of our chapter.
• By purchasing your membership online, you will immediately be added to our database, enabling you to enjoy the member-restricted areas of our site and to receive e-mail updates about our chapter meetings.
