You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment working across all of the AT&T brands. You must be able to collaborate closely with application developers, information architecture and other technology teams to meet aggressive timelines. You must be able to troubleshoot, debug and update websites and applications coded by you as well as work performed by other developers. You must have a strong understanding in web standards (W3C), semantic markup, cross-browser support, browser degradation techniques, visual design, usability, SEO, and accessibility. Expertise in (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript libraries (Prototype, jQuery, and Scriptaculous) is a must. Server side scripting languages (JSP, ASP, PHP) is a plus.

Must have excellent presentation layer development skills:

* Expert level understanding of (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, Prototype, and Scriptaculous), AJAX, and JSON with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies .

* Typically requires a college degree in computer science or five years experience in front-end web programming with hands-on work with web interface and layout design.

* Must have a strong ability to review, understand, and reuse existing code base.

* Coding style should be evolved to where your code is modular and very reusable.

* Must be able to develop web pages so that pages are ‘pixel perfect' in all major browsers.

* Must have the ability to build reusable HTML templates from scratch and must be able to do so with plain text editors as well as complex editors like Adobe Dreamweaver.

* IE6 bugs and remedies expert.

* Web browser, SEO, and 508/WCAG accessibility expertise.

* Must be able to follow detailed instructions, stay focused, and be able switch gears with short notice.

* You must be able to communicate all aspects of presentation layer development in technical and non-technical fashion.

* You must be able to provide expert direction to content managers.
