Job Category: Human ResourcesLocation: Redmond, WA, USJob ID: 747099-35552Division: Human ResourcesDirector, SMSG WW Staffing Key Accountabilities • Drives common staffing priorities and processes for SMSG, to include building the capability of the staffing teams and ensures an end-to-end view of both internal and external candidates. • Leads the development and implementation of workforce planning strategies, tools and processes in partnership with Talent Management team. • Partners with HRBPs and Staffing Leaders to build business relevant diversity strategies and subsequent staffing and workforce plans and tactics. Establishes common measurements of progress in diversity across and within the businesses, and works with HR team to define improvement actions/plans. • Works with COE to develop strong external search partner relationships, rules of engagement and performance measures. Develops SMSG Story for external search partners and leverages to attract and retain strong talent. • Brings visibility and integration to global SMSG sr. leader openings, hiring strategies, and progress made through effective reporting and metrics. Serves as a SME support to Staffing and HR Leads to drive comprehensive talent mapping initiatives across the business. • In partnership with HRBP, Talent management and Staffing lead, creates slates for open senior roles and develops executive talent account plans for SMSG SLT to contribute to robust succession plans. • Leads reporting, analytics and insights for HR and business clients, and guides the internal use of the data to resolve challenges and improve results. • Provides guidance to global MACH & rotational programs and raises the level of business impact each year. • Partners with COE to continuously improve MSFT systems and processes -bringing speed and efficiency to the staffing teams globally. Education/Experience/Skills Required: BA/BS in Human Resources Management or related field required. MA or MBA in a related field, is a plus. 8-10 years of Global HR experience required, with emphasis in staffing/college recruiting and HR business partner leadership. Experience working with senior business leaders and influencing outcomes. Demonstrated ability to influence and lead from behind (support role) or in front. Brings strong business acumen combined with strategic business partnership and consulting which delivers tangible results. Ability to effectively collaborate across organization boundaries. Able to translate business requirements into practical staffing actions that make a difference. Strong project and change management skills - able to implement at scale, globally.
