Job Description
The Payroll Analyst role is responsible for payroll service delivery to meet company targets, identify and resolve issues, lead complex projects, facilitate continuous process improvement and manage outsourcing relationship. Primary focus for this vendor relationship resides with the severance process and General Ledger Support.

Fundamental Components:
* Work in partnership with CVS Health’s BPO provider and internal business partners to deliver timely and accurate service to our almost 300,000 colleagues across various CVS Health/Aetna business lines
* Guarantee compliance related inquiries are addressed in a timely and effective manner
* Actively track performance against established service level objectives. Identify and investigate shortfalls; conduct root cause analyses as necessary
* Coordinate the resolution of colleague inquiries and vendor service issues
* Facilitate and resolve disputes and colleague concerns arising from performance related activities.
* Awareness and support activities to internal and external vendors
* Apply standard methodology using project management techniques and tools to achieve desired requirements, budget and time frames
* Possess a deep understanding and provide subject matter expertise relating to activities within CVS Health/Aetna in relation to HR Services as well as the Governance of our BPO
* Provide recommendations, strategy, action plans and / or counsel relating to HRSS service delivery in support of CVS Health/Aetna colleague requirements and internal business partners
* Audit service and production reports, confirm service provider scorecard and identify trend in reporting and analyses
* Responsible for developing recommendations relating to service and process improvements and related project implementations
* Coordinate service and operational procedure development both within HRSS and between HRSS and Alight
* Facilitate vendor, business unit and associate issue identification, management and resolution

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of payroll experience or a financial background
* Background in G/L processing (liabilities, expenses, P&L), Vendor Oversight and service leadership experience
* Excellent PC skills, including deep understanding of spreadsheet and database software.
* Skilled in Query writing or experience with reporting tools such as Cognos Access, PeopleSoft Query or any other similar reporting tool

Preferred Qualifications
* Background in garnishments
* Ability to perform all End to End payroll full gross to net steps and activities
* Ability to prioritize and manage projects utilizing standard project management methodologies
* Ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines
* Ability to work in a high paced, team based environment
* Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and administration; including an in-depth knowledge of base HR policies and practices within one or more of the following areas: Compliance, Payroll, Accounting, HR/Workforce Administration, Records Management and Time & Attendance

* Bachelor's degree required
