We are seeking talented, driven college graduates to join our entry-level Actuarial and Analyst training program.

Homesite’s Actuarial and Analyst Training Program offers two weeks of hands-on technical training prior to starting a permanent role in our organization. Roles within this organization offer an excellent opportunity to interact with a variety of departments in the organization (Government Affairs, Compliance, IT Leadership, Partner Management, Operations, Claims, etc.) and the broader American Family community.


Educational Credentials: A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Business/Operations Management or other STEM required; Relevant Experience: Applicable internship or co-op experience, ideally including work in Property & Casualty insurance; Exams: Passing grades on a minimum of 1 Casualty Actuarial exam and desire to achieve Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) required for actuarial track Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who is willing to learn to identify business opportunities, develop a product plan to capitalize on those opportunities, and successfully implement the plan; Structured & Logical Thinking: The ability to learn to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses; Analytical Rigor: Desire to build analytical skills and evaluate data critically; Powerful Communication: The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly across a variety of media; Team Player: The candidate will need to work well as part of a team; Software Experience: General knowledge of Excel, SQL, SAS required and strong desire to improve skills through training;
