Position Summary

As a Cook, you'll support our mission of "Partnering for Healing and a Healthy Future" by ensuring our kitchens produce the fresh and nutritious meals that our patients need. You’ll be supporting our commitment to use whole, fresh, local, and sustainable products wherever economically possible. Every day you come to work you’ll need to be ready to provide a quality product in a fast paced, team oriented, and customer service focused environment. You will need to be a reliable team member, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. This position requires knowledge in all stations of the kitchen. Internal contacts are retail customers, patient families and others within the work group.

Minimum Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent Graduate of a Culinary Arts Program Preferred Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates required knowledge High School Graduate or equivalent preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications

One year cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels or healthcare line cook Current State of Washington Food Handler's card Serve-Safe Certified preferred

As an on call employee you will receive a base rate of pay and an additional 15% Pay in Lieu of Benefits, this will increase your pay by 15%.
