Position Description

The Opportunity:
• Position is full-time as a MultiCare employee with some time spent working out of Sea Mar’s clinic as part of a community partnership
• Join established Orthopedic Surgery team comprised of five surgeons and five NP/PA staff
• Work as a Surgical first assist in the OR (rotating amongst all ortho specialties)
• Time split between sites in Puyallup, WA, Bonney Lake, WA and four days per month will be spent in Tacoma, WA
• Approximately 75% of time spent in outpatient clinics and 25% of time spent at Good Samaritan Hospital (rounding, consults & OR first assist)
• Additional compensation for work completed onsite after 5:30pm Mon-Fri and any time Sat-Sun as part of call group participation (desirable call pool 1:7)

Experience Profile:
• Minimum of one year working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Orthopedic Surgery
• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment
• Board certified by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
