Position Specifics: The selected candidate will be responsible for order, receipt, storage, issue and shipping of Fleet Support Group (FSG) material, Government Furnished Material (GFM), and FSG tools according to FSG procedures for their assigned task. This individual is responsible for maintaining the official documentation and issue files for FSG LLC, customer and government property for the assigned task. The candidate will review material drawing bill of materials (BOM) against orders with FSG or customer supplied material and GFM. Additionally, this individual inventories and completes pre-cabling kits for the assigned task and assists with wire marker and cable tag lists.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance, and receive a Secret Clearance after hire.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain base credentials.
• Understanding/knowledge of shipping and receiving of material and supplies and well as Government Furnished Material and Customer acquired material.
• Knowledge of Government and Contractor Acquired Material as it relates to inventory, issue and storage.
• Experience in planning, drawing material kitting and preparation for installation tasking.
• Understanding of how hazmat items are stored, shipped, disposed of and handled in shipboard environment.
• The ability to lift up to 40lbs
• The ability to travel up to 0-100% of the time.
• Strong computer skills, including demonstrable experience with data entry, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
